THE FRONT PORCH DECK - southeast portion. The cabin has a porch wrapping around three sides, and serves as outdoor living for most of the year, and exhibition space for sculpture. The top is shaded by bamboo as of this photograph, but will soon be replaced by the upper bedroom deck. Summers in Fresno are very intense, but the nights in particular are like those of an oasis . . . balmy.
