THE MAIN EAST TERRACE - Pictured on the right is the planting of 21 Drake Elm trees which were brought in by truck. All of the irrigation had to be arranged prior to digging the holes for each of the trees, as well as incorporating the electrical lights beneath each tree. The length of the main terrace also served as the leach field for the septic system. At the left is the small motor coach my parents let me borrow to live in for two years at the beginning of the construction. All my possessions were put into storage, and I quickly learned just how little in material possessions one really requires. One can see the poles are vertically in place for the studio at this time.
